Sarah Grace's Baptism - September 13, 2009

Sarah Grace's Baptism was an absolutely beautiful day in our lives! SG was baptized at St. James United Methodist Church on September 13, 2009 in Greenville, NC. We also joined the church during the same church service (Jack transferred his membership from First Baptist Waynesboro and Christi transferred her membership from Wrightsville United Methodist Church)...and it was National Grandparents Day - such neat symbolism! After church, we all gathered back at our home for lunch and fellowship. Sarah Grace was a sweet girl all day long (and it was a long, long day!).
We hope we can raise Sarah Grace as we've been raised...teach her to love the Lord...and show her love, kindness, patience, and other characteristics that will make her a virtuous woman of God! We are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends who love, guide, and support us through our walk with the Lord AND as we nurture ourselves and our family.
Thank you all for making an effort to be with us during this special day in our lives! We missed those of you who couldn't be with us and we appreciate your blessings and love!
Please enjoy these pictures from this momentous day in our lives!
