Weddings...New Toys...Feet...Rice Cereal...LIFE!

The Coiners are staying as busy as bees...
Sarah Grace had a wonderful 4 month check up on July 31st...it was filled with lots of smiles and laughs (she was flirting with her new pediatrician, Dr. Prevatte) and also a few shots. The doctor says she is a very happy and healthy "slender" gal with lots of personality and great developmental skills (great news for Mom and Dad to hear!). She continues to "wow" and amaze us each day...what a love! Jack continues to enjoy his intern year of residency (if you can call his line of work enjoyable). He really likes surgery and operating as well as the continuity of care. We are ALL excited to see him when he gets home from work. We love family dinners, working in our yard, taking walks (if it is not too hot), and making each other laugh...Sarah Grace has developed quite a cute chuckle! We continue to work on a few projects around the house - we still love being homeowners!

Sarah Grace got to spend some time with Oma, Opa, and Great Aunt Holly while her Mom and Dad went out on a "date night" to Katie's wedding where they ate yummy food, saw great friends, and danced the night away.

Sarah Grace seemed ready to try "solid" foods...and she did so well! She sits up in her high chair like a big/little girl, opens her mouth wide for the spoon, and helps shove the spoon in her mouth...it is so much fun to watch!

Sarah Grace's first trip to the library...it was quite an amzing experience. She was taking it all in...the books, the people, new noises, new smells...we hope she will continue to enjoy reading books!

Something tickled her funny bone - she laughed for quite a while...maybe she is learning that her car seat isn't SO bad...but I am sure it was something else...

Teething...for real...she's not doing too bad...a little fussy, but overall she's dealing with the pain!
SG's FIRST TOOTH ~ we felt the tip breaking through the gums on August 17, 2009 (botton right!) And as of this posting (8-24-09), only one week after we felt the first tooth...we feel TWO (2) teeth! Front and center on her bottom gumline...precious!

Summer Fun!

We officially moved into our first home in Greenville, North Carolina on June 1, 2009! It is such a wonderful feeling to be homeowners...we are quite happy!
Please enjoy these pictures and captions below as we experience life as it unfolds...the life God has so graciously blessed us with.
We just celebrated our FOUR year anniversary and are so grateful for all our blessings!
Jack enjoys being a doctor but doesn't enjoy many sleepless nights being on call at the hospital and enjoys coming home to see his girls!...Sarah Grace continues to grow and change; she is always smiling - what a miracle!...Christi feels so blessed to be a stay-at-home Mom to SG; she also spends time visiting with friends and family and volunteering in the community. Daisy loves her new home and likes to frolic in the backyard and the baby pool.

DOCTOR JACK COINER

Congratulations to Dr. Jack Coiner! Dr. John Timothy "Jack" Coiner II graduated on May 30, 2009 from Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine at Virginia Tech. He will continue his training as a resident physician in obstetrics and gynecology at East Carolina University-Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina.
